How do I get started?

Getting started is easy!  The first step is to schedule an introductory lesson with one of our certified teachers.  During your lesson, you and your teacher will determine your goals, and the best way to accomplish them.

How will I fit dancing into my work schedule?

Simple!  We work with you and your work schedule.  At Golden City Ballroom, we strive to make our staff as flexible as we can to accomodate your schedule.  You can take lessons anytime you wish.  We teach M-F, 1 pm until 9 pm, and Saturday from noon until 4 pm.

Can I really learn to dance?

YES!  Dancing is like walking – just to music!  We teach simple, basic steps; most are easily learned.  We have taught many, many people of all ages how to dance!

Who will my teacher be?

Our teachers are the best in the area, and have been trained by some of the best dancers in the world. They are experienced on the dance floor, and will help you master the dances you desire to learn. We select the teacher who will meet your needs and suit your personality.

Is the learning process difficult?

Absolutely NOT! Dancing is the most enjoyable thing you can do for yourself. You will learn four basic movements, and from these movements come many different combinations that develop into the dances you want to master.

How much do lessons cost?

The cost of the programs vary, depending on a number of things, for example: how good you want to be, what dances you want to learn and how comitted you are to your dancing. After your introductory lesson, your teacher will reccomend a program and will be able to answer any questions you may have, so that you will easily make the right choice for yourself.
